Ravenwood was established in 1983 by Diane Corbo and Valerie Carrano. They immediately fell in love with the Greek revival style house which was originally a Sea Captain’s home built in 1830. For over 35 years they have continually strived to make a welcoming home-away-from home for their guests at Ravenwood.
Both Diane and Valerie have been active in the Provincetown community and town government, in particular co-establishing the well-recognized Women Innkeepers organization which began in 1984. Each has worked on many town committees which included such programs as hate-crimes prevention and domestic violence intervention. They continue to support the community’s efforts to preserve a safe environment respecting all people equally.
